Please note that Isuue 2868: Problem when compressing with SevenZipSharp is still occouring in SevenZipSharp v0.44b and seems that it is not yet resolved. Please retest it with the files in the Media(Ok).zip attchment provided in the issue. Exact compression code is as mentioned below.

SevenZipCompressor.SetLibraryPath(@"c:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.dll");
SevenZipCompressor tmpC = new SevenZipCompressor();
tmpC.ArchiveFormat = OutArchiveFormat.Zip;
tmpC.CompressionLevel = CompressionLevel.Ultra;
tmpC.CompressionMethod = CompressionMethod.Deflate;
tmpC.FileCompressionStarted += delegate(object s, FileInfoEventArgs e)
{
    Console.WriteLine(String.Format("[{0}%] {1}",
        e.PercentDone, e.FileInfo.Name));
};
tmpC.FilesFound += delegate(object ss, IntEventArgs ee)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Number of files: " + ee.Value.ToString());
};
tmpC.CompressDirectory(@"c:\Test\Media", @"c:\Test\Media.zip");

where c:\Test\Media directory cotains the files extracted from Media(Ok).zip .

Ok, now it is truly resolved. Thanks for the hint. The issue consisted of 2 separate bugs, that's why I thought I fixed compression at first.
